We believe the house dates back well over 100 years and so like a lot of old houses from this era, the bathroom before the renovation was located off the back of the kitchen on the ground floor.

This isn’t the ideal place for it to be and so with a bit of ‘tinkering’ with the space upstairs the seller was able to move the bathroom to the first floor which in my view works much better.  The other benefit of relocating the bathroom is that it has created an open plan dining space off the kitchen which now has French doors leading out to the garden, a really nice touch.
