Our Camberley branch is centrally located to support the local town and surrounding area. With a passionate and experienced team, we’re perfectly placed to support with sales and lettings in the community.
They offered sensible, honest advice when putting our house on the market, kept us updated at every stage, and were very prompt in responding to all our enquiries throughout the process. Would definitely use them again for any future moves!

Managing Director: Stephen Tetlow
2a Princess Way
I am passionate firstly about people and secondly about property, so it’s a joy to assist our clients all the way through their journey to moving.
Celia Markham Assistant Branch Manager
Assistant Branch Manager
Having started her career in estate agency in 1988, Celia offers clients a wealth of expertise and experience. Drawn by Mackenzie Smith’s reputation, Celia was familiar with us when she joined the company.
Celia has lived locally since 1995, enthusiastic about the range of recreational activities, and schools, plus the connections to London and Gatwick. When she isn’t spending time with family, Celia enjoys swimming, walking, keep-fit, and Yoga.
My advice to anyone looking to sell is to be realistic. If you are, the market is more likely to exceed your expectations.
Stephen Tetlow Managing Director
Stephen is one of Mackenzie Smith’s most recognisable faces, having joined the company upon its opening in 1992. He has always been a driving force within the sales teams thanks to his vast experience of working in the industry since the 70s. While Stephen has valued and sold thousands of properties during his career, his attitude to his work has always remained the same. He understands that selling such a large financial asset is a huge responsibility, and he’s always willing to go the extra mile to repay his clients’ trust.
Like a lot of his peers, Stephen takes to the greens during his time off. He believes that the concentration needed to play golf makes it one of the easiest ways to switch off from work.
I pride myself in making the moving process as smooth as possible for our clients.
Paul Hillyer Assistant Branch Manager
Paul brings a passion for property and a broad depth of local knowledge, inspired to become an agent after seeing his parents move. He finds great satisfaction in seeing his clients achieve their dream home and holds efficient customer service in high esteem.
Having started out in the industry back in 2008, Paul has worked in various settings, from large corporates to small independents.
In his free time, Paul’s a keen football fan and likes nothing more than watching his son play. He enjoys exploring the local green spaces, keeps fit at the gym, and makes the occasional trip to London.
In the corner of Surrey, on the borders of Berkshire and Hampshire, located just off the M3, Camberley is a popular town for first-time buyers and families. With good access to London on the Aldershot/Ascot line, it’s also an attractive commuter town for those looking to move out of London. With a population of over 30,000, Camberley has a thriving community with plenty of amenities and attractions to offer residents and visitors alike.
With a variety of different types of properties, buyers are sure to find everything from flats to larger detached properties. With a selection of apartments in town, there is great opportunity for first-time buyers to find their ideal flat or for larger families to find a spacious 5 bedroom detached house.. Equally, the area is a great location for families, with many residential areas to explore, along with more prestigious outlying areas of Crawley Hill and Diamond Ridge.
In the past 12 months, the average sale price for a property in Camberley was right around £500,000. Of course, price ranges vary for different property types. Flats, on average, saw a sales price of £238,909, terraced homes at £372,336, semi-detached homes at £472,559 and detached homes at £808,047.
With sales prices lower than the Surrey average, buyers looking to stay close to London will find that their money goes further in this historical.

From 1-bedroom flats to 4-bedroom semi-detached houses, there are plenty of opportunities to find the right living situation to meet your needs. Lettings range from around £1000 to £3500 per month. Camberley was once part of the Windsor Forest, developing around the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst until it became Camberley, as we know it today, in 1877. One of the most notable features of Camberley is its bustling town centre, which boasts a wide range of shops, restaurants, and cafes. From The Square shopping centre to high-end fashion boutiques and popular high-street retailers, there’s something for everyone here. In addition, the town center is home to the Atrium, a modern shopping and entertainment complex that offers a cinema, bowling alley, and various eateries.
Beyond the town centre, Camberley offers a number of green spaces and parks for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy. These include Frimley Lodge Park, which features a miniature railway and numerous walking trails, and Watchmoor Nature Reserve, which is home to a variety of wildlife and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. You can also walk the picturesque paths of Basingstoke Canal.
Overall, Camberley is a vibrant and welcoming town that offers something for everyone. With its mix of modern amenities and natural beauty, it’s no wonder that it’s a popular destination for visitors and a desirable place to live for many people.
We appreciate the only way to provide a quality service to our clients is to employ highly skilled and professional staff with the right attitude and personality.
