iStock_000004782851LargeLast month we launched our photography competition to give you the chance to showcase the diversity and beauty of the local area with the added bonus of the possibility of winning a £250 cash prize and having your photo included in our 2015 calendar.

We haver already had some cracking entries that can be viewed on our Facebook page and because our aim is to also catch the changing season you are free to enter as many times as you wish.

Not only are we surrounded by the stunning North Hampshire countryside, but also charming villages such as Hook and Hartley Wintney, canal walks and ranges around Ash, the nearby scenic Surrey Hills, and the bustling towns of Farnborough and Fleet with both traditional and contemporary architecture.

We would like you to capture the changing beauty of the local area, or anything that you think is particularly interesting or would make a good picture in the calendar.

  • Originality

  • Suitability for inclusion in a calendar


Please submit your entries to with your name, age, address and phone number, the entries will also be posted on our Facebook page, so make sure to ‘like’ our page and ‘like’ your photo as the judges will also take the number of likes into account.

There will be two grand prize winners in  the following age categories, under 18’s and 18’s & over, with £250  going to each grand prize winner and Mackenzie Smith then also donating  £250 to a charity of the winners choosing.

The twelve best entries will make up our 2015 calendar with the twelve photographers all receiving a free copy.
