One of the most common comments made to my colleagues by potential Vendors is ‘how tough the market must be and how difficult it will be to sell property in the current economic climate’.
We then have the task of not appearing to over sell the fact that it is property we need not buyers. Property drives the market and correctly priced and maintained property in sought after locations attract buyers and sell quickly at values that have held up or increased on last year. The simple facts are that there is not enough property coming to the market. This shortfall is being partly met by a modest increase in the supply of New Homes and demand for New Homes this year has been strong.
My message to anyone who is seriously considering a sale but might hold reservations about the strength of the market is to talk to us. The advice is free and we can remove those perceptions by providing you with solid facts that back up our advice.
