Despite the cold weather, snow and ice, Katherine has been putting in regular training during evenings and weekends, braving temperatures of -3, and is now clocking up 18miles on her Saturday run.
Things are looking up weather wise but that doesn’t take away from the discipline and dedication that is going into preparing for the marathon, it’s not only the running training; swimming, diet and rest, all play an important part too.
The Outward Bound Trust requires Katherine to raise £1,750.00 before the Marathon on the 22nd April, that’s £66.79 a mile!
If you would like to support Katherine and help her reach the £1750 simply click on this link to visit the giving website.
The Outward Bound Trust will use the money raised to help as many young people as possible to have access to safe, adventurous experiences through which they can raise their self-esteem, realise their full potential and achieve more than they ever thought possible.
Best of Luck to Katherine
