Johnson House now sold out, new homes coming soon
Specialist house builder and brownfield developer Inland Homes has reached a new milestone at its successful Queensgate development in Farnborough, Hampshire, with sales now completed on all one and two bedroom apartments at Johnson House through selling agent Mackenzie Smith.
The current completions are the latest success story from the popular development. Properties at Queensgate have been in such strong demand that so far a large majority have sold off-plan.
Work is due to begin on a new phase of one and two bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom family homes in March, with occupations scheduled from the Autumn of 2015.
Stephen Wicks, Chief Executive at Inland Homes, says; “Visitors to Queensgate have seen for themselves how the development is transforming this important brownfield site into a sustainable new community. We are looking forward to building on the success of Johnson House with our next phase of energy efficient, family homes. We already have a long waiting list, so we are expecting this new tranche of homes to sell very quickly.”
Cheryl Davies from Mackenzie Smith has been based at Queensgate’s sales centre for several phases and commented, “It’s a pleasure to have been involved in selling these well designed new homes over several phases and seeing the community come together and grow. With some buyers missing out on property in the last phase and Farnborough’s popularity growing I anticipate there will be more sales off plan on this coming phase. With more diversity in the properties that will be built I look forward to welcoming new investors, first time buyers and families to the community at Queensgate.”
Queensgate is a development of one, two, three and four bedroom homes located on former MoD land just outside Farnborough town centre, with fast links via train to London, Guildford, Reading and Gatwick Airport. When completed, the scheme will contain residential properties, business space and a proposed nursing home in a carefully landscaped setting.
The homes at Queensgate have been designed to a high specification, maximising light and space and featuring integrated appliances in the kitchens, stylish fittings in the bathrooms and allocated parking and cycle storage to all properties.
