This week Roxanne and Tara from Mackenzie Smith’s marketing department were surprised and pleased to be presented with a certificate of thanks by Colin Gray, Chairman of Fleet Pond Society.
“It was a wonderful event to take part in, I’m so pleased we did it and so pleased we managed to raise more than we had expected. A medal from the event and now this certificate and some chocolates, it definitely has been a rewarding experience!” Roxanne, Marketing Manager.
Roxanne and Tara raised £471.20 in donations, equating to £559.00 with the inclusion of Gift Aid.
We discussed some of the recent works when Colin Gray, David Pottinger and Cathy Holden from the Fleet Pond Society dropped into our Fleet High Street Office, and found that the sum we had raised would be approximately enough for a bench in one of the new picnic areas, enough to make a difference.

It’s been a busy week at Fleet Pond with local schools off on Easter Holidays and the sun shining, with preparations under way for the Easter Walks on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th April from 10am and 2pm. The Countryside Rangers will be running a self-guided walk around fleet pond. An Easter Pack sounds full of fun, follow the clues and answer the questions to win your Easter egg.
