More than just a home

May 20, 2020

At Cranmore Lane, Aldershot, you’re getting more than just a home, you’re also getting a close-knit community who have demonstrated exceptional spirit during the lockdown phase.

When you’re looking for a home, you’re likely to have a list of requirements, be that the number of bedrooms, parking, proximity to schools and train stations. However, one important factor that is often harder to guarantee, is a good neighbour.

We’re working closely with our vendors to ensure that any updates they may have made to their home during lockdown are reflected in our marketing. When catching up with the owner of this wonderful family home, she not only updated us on the great work they’ve been doing, but rightly so, highlighted the wonderful neighbourly kindness they’d witnessed over the last few months.

“We feel very lucky to live here. During lockdown the community has come together even more than ever. From coffee mornings on the driveway, clapping for our carers and the occasional sing-song, our neighbours have been so involved. We have a local resident, Terry at No.13, who is our local celebrity. He appeared on Britain’s Got Talent a while back, these days he performs for nursing homes, donating takings to the local hospice. During lockdown he’s been serenading us all on the street to cheer us up.

Along with the community spirit, we’ve also enjoyed this location during lockdown thanks to the beautiful walks nearby. It’s actually taken lockdown to introduce us to some of these, including Caesars Camp and Rowhills."

Along with enjoying their local walks and neighbourly interactions, the owners of this three bedroom home in Aldershot have been touching up the fencing, garden, gutters, plus sprucing up the kitchen and utility room. Offering versatile reception spaces and plenty of driveway parking, within easy reach of All Hallows school – this really is an ideal family home.
