Buy your first home at Fleet Mill

March 22, 2022

The fantastic new homes available now at Fleet Mill offer affordability for first-time buyers! Find out how you can benefit from Help to Buy and the further benefits that Fleet Mill has to offer.

Are you dreaming of being a homeowner with a stylish new property? You can now make this a reality at Fleet Mill.

Reputable builder Matthew Homes is registered on the superb Help to Buy scheme, meaning you could purchase your first home with just a 5% deposit.

The apartments start at £235,000, so a 5% deposit would be £11,750.

What’s more, the Help to Buy Equity Loan scheme means you receive a government loan of up to 20% of the total value of your home, meaning you only require a 75% mortgage.

These beautiful apartments offer a superb opportunity to get onto the housing ladder without compromising on style and location. Well-designed for modern living, the apartments offer gorgeous open plan kitchen/living rooms, well equipped with a range of integrated kitchen appliances, fitted with luxurious Roca bathrooms and en suites.

Ideally located for Fleet‘s high street with restaurants, cafes, bars, and the modern shopping centre, they enjoy close proximity to the Fleet Pond Nature Reserve and Basingstoke Canal.

Set back on Minley Road, there are excellent connections to nearby towns and the M3. Fleet Station is also just a stroll away, reaching London Waterloo in just 46 minutes.

Our independent financial advisor, Andrew Fagg makes the following point to first-time buyers…

“The Help To Buy scheme can access historically low interest rates, by virtue of the fact that the Government are funding 20% of the equity.”

So how do you start? Just take these simple steps…

  1. Find out more, arrange a viewing, and reserve a home with Toni and the team on 01252 961717,
  2. Seek advice from an independent financial adviser or mortgage lender
  3. Register online with the Help to Buy Agent for the South
  4. The Agent for the South assesses your eligibility, then issues an Authority to Proceed, lasting 3 months
  5. Apply for a mortgage, taking your application through to Authority to Exchange
  6. With the apartment built, the paperwork completed, and dates agreed, the Agent for the South issues a Transaction Confirmation
  7. The Transaction Confirmation allows legal completion and the funds to be sent to Fleet Mill
  8. The Agent for the South then passes your details to the Equity Loan Administrator to manage until paid in full
  9. You can now move into your new home!

Once fully paid, the 20% equity all belongs to you…
