With the bulk of the building work already done, the street scene is already evident as it stretched out in front to the circus at the end. While there is still much to do to finish the internals of the properties and the street itself, we were able to take a look inside The Appleby, the house that has been chosen to be the Show Home.
The quality of the build is immediately evident just standing outside and looking at the exquisite brick and tile work, much thought has clearly gone into the property’s first impression. On entering the house I really liked the sense of space the high ceilings afforded. The kitchen diner was to the right of the hall and has already been fitted out with quality German Hacker cabinets and polished stone work tops and with the wainscoting propped up, ready to fit, you can tell this is going to be an elegant home indeed.
The accommodation of the house it set over three floors with the second floor dedicated to the grand master suite that encompasses not only a contemporary en suite shower room, but a large walk in wardrobe/dressing room as well.
In addition to this, the zoned under floor heating had gone in and all the various electrics and entertainment connections have also been put in place.
With the show home likely to be ready towards the end of the year, I really can’t wait to see it in it’s finished state.
