Last Friday we took a call from a potential seller enquiring about our agency fees, the seller explained they had been using a non high street selling agent for a couple of months to try and sell the property, located in a hugely sought after development in Hook Village Centre, but had not had any interest so far.
We agreed that Mackenzie Smith would market the property so we put details together promptly and launched it online straight away at about 5.30pm.
Whilst going through our lists of applicants one specific gentleman who had come into the office to discuss his property requirements seemed to be the ideal candidate to buy the property. I swiftly called him and arranged a viewing appointment for that very evening.
The viewing went well and when I contacted the potential purchaser in the morning, having had a night to think on it, he was keen to offer the asking price. The seller was thrilled when I called, happy to accept the offer and very pleased we could help them find a buyer so quickly.
