Whilst all eyes are on compliance in the private rental sector, so far, nothing is set in stone this spring for The Renters Rights’ Bill.

The bill makes proposals that will affect private landlords, tenants and estate agents, including plans to abolish fixed term assured tenancies and have Section 21 notice evictions replaced with additions to Section 8.

Currently the bill is under examination in the committee stage, scheduled to continue into mid-May.

Our Lettings Team have been busy preparing to get ahead, ensuring our landlords and tenancies will remain compliant despite the changes to come.
