December seems to be just flying by! I don’t know about you, but that seems to be the same as the whole year actually…

With just 13 days (at the time of writing) until the big day, we’re all running out of time to get everything done in time. However, no need to panic! To take one worry away, we’ve listed Royal Mail’s last post dates below, so whether you’re writing to loved ones near or far, you won’t miss the post.

This year, the last day for posting a 2nd Class card is Tuesday 18th December, for first class, it’s Thursday 20th December.

If you need to send something abroad, best get your skates on, deadlines started early December for those tricky to reach places, but for most nearer countries and USA, you’re still on time… just.

Did you know, the UK alone sends over 800,000 letters to Santa – I’m fairly sure letters will still get to him up until Christmas Eve if you opt for Chimney Mail.

The Royal Mail certainly have their work cut out, with an estimated 900 million Christmas cards likely to be sent, with Britons sending an average of 16 per person. So don’t delay, get down to your local post office today…!
