Another successful summer for lettings with August being our busiest month so far.
The demand for rented accommodation continued through the summer and shows no sign of slowing down, this can be seen across all price ranges and areas that we cover.
Farnborough has seen a lot of rental activity, with over half of all the properties let in August being close to Farnborough Business Park. The modern apartments in particular are a popular choice for young professionals either coming to work in Farnborough or wanting to make use of the excellent train link to London.
Hook and Fleet have also seen high demand and we have let some lovely town houses in both areas to families keen to take advantage of the good schools locally and the excellent links to the capital.
Ash Vale is always popular with tenants with many of them loving the Avondale development, again the proximity to commuting rail links and road connections is always a bonus.
And of course then there is Hartley Wintney, which may not have the large business parks or the links to London found in some of our other areas, but for tenants wanting the quintessential British village, it is absolutely ideal. Over the years we have seen an increasing number of people wanting to buy in this much sought after village, who decide to rent first while they wait for their ideal property to become available for sale. Cottages around the cricket green and duck pond are most sought after, but anywhere within walking distance of this gorgeous village is going to prove popular.
Now that our Yateley branch is open, we are looking forward to extending the coverage we can offer landlords and tenants. We have been very successful letting properties in Eversley already, but with the addition of the Yateley office, we can expand on that success and cover areas including Little Sandhurst, Sandhurst, College Town and Owlsmoor and onto Crowthorne and Finchampstead to offer the same high level of service to clients in these areas.
September is looking to be just as busy as August, which is great news, but of course that does mean we will need more properties to satisfy waiting applicants.
