Independent mortgage advisors can help to access the best rates and products, saving you money over the life of your mortgage. I also provide independent advice about mortgage protection, which is not generally available directly from banks and building societies.
Alongside income, we consider a variety of factors to find a scheme tailored to our client. These include anything from their age to what in particular, will appeal to them – for example, if you are a risk taker, you might prefer a variable rate, instead of a fixed-rate mortgage."
Ongoing support“My support doesn’t just end when a mortgage deal is struck.I find solutions for complex issues and help my clients to maintain financial security. For example, I’ll schedule contact with clients before they reach the end of a 2- or 5-year fixed term date, to help them renew their arrangements.
I often provide guidance when there is a change of circumstances. This happened recently with a client, who had just completed their mortgage deal. They sought my advice but went directly to the suggested lender, and their new application was turned down. When I made the application on their behalf, it all went smoothly."
Who can go to a financial advisor?“I can help many different types of clients. Mine vary from first-time buyers to landlords with a portfolio of investment properties, and who have benefitted from Let-to-Buy Mortgage deals. Some of my clients have been coming to me for 30 years."
