When it comes to marketing a home for sale, our Assistant Branch Manager in Fleet, Justin Smith, has noticed a real change in buyer activity.

“This year I have seen an increase with potential buyers coming into the office to register their interest for property, rather than relying on online portals alone, such as Rightmove, Zoopla etc.

One of the comments that sticks in my mind, and has been mentioned more than once, is that coming in to register with an estate agent will give them the edge over the internet.

The view is that when a property comes fresh to the market, the high street agent will call them before the property is put onto the website.

This is so true and has been underpinned recently, as a number of sales have been secured ahead of a property reaching the online market from buyers that have made the effort to come in and see us.

My advice to any buyer is, if you are looking to buy a property, or indeed sell, take a visit to your high street agent, take a seat and talk through your property needs and moving goals.”
