let byEver since the EU Referendum, there has been so much speculation and analysis of the effects on the property market, that one could be forgiven for getting slightly fed up with the constant coverage.

In short the demand for good quality rented accommodation has increased as stock levels are starting to fall. We are experiencing a record quarter for new lets but we just can’t keep up with the demand and many good quality applicants are being disappointed.

In all the areas that we cover along the M3 corridor the story is the same, high demand and very little available property. If the outcome of the referendum has done anything, it has fuelled the demand for all types of rented property.  Perhaps the prospect of an uncertain future has prompted far more people to rent than ever before and this increase in demand could well push rental levels up, which in turn could encourage investment buyers back to the private rental sector.  This of course is good news for the property market in general.
