Local half term activities this October

There are some great local activities for the children this October half term, whether you wish to drop the children off or participate, with some family fun.

Football Clubs in Farnborough and Elvetham Heath

Football Clubs are being held at Elvetham Heath Primary School from Tuesday 26th to Thursday 28th October. Suited to ages 5-11, the cost is £28 per day or £80 for the full three days. For more details, please click here.

CM Sports are holding Club footy at The Wavell Secondary School in Farnborough this half term week, from 8.30am-4.30pm. Register here for more details.

Active Camps in Sherfield-on-Loddon

Redwoods Camp is hosting active camps for children at Sherfield School near Hook, from Monday 25th to Friday 29th October.

Ranging from ages 0-18 years, a wide range of activities are tailored to each child's needs, keeping them entertained and no doubt burning off some of their boundless energy!

There will be arts & crafts, team games, obstacle courses, sports and much more.

Priced at £45 per day or £200 for the full week, tickets are available here.

Camberley Judo Club

Get the kids fighting fit at the Camberley Judo Club this October. 

Featuring sessions taught by Olympians such as Ashley McKenzie, a range of abilities will be accepted, for children up to the age of 13. 

Children will also be able to participate in football, touch rugby, running, and forest activities.

The half-term camp runs from Tuesday 26th – Thursday 28 October, from 9.45 am to 4.30 pm. The cost is £30 per day, or £75 for the full three days. For more information, click here.

FREE cinema screening of The Croods: A New Age

Enjoy some fun at Hartley Wintney this half term! A free cinema screening is being held by the parish council at Victoria Hall, West Green Road, on Tuesday 26th at 10:30am.

Farnham Museum

Enjoy art, craft and historical exhibitions at the Farnham Museum for free this half term, open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 10am until 5pm.

Set within a beautiful Georgian character building, the museum works with local artists, being part of the Farnham Maltings Association.

There will also be a Halloween Crafts drop-in for children on a first-come-first-served basis, from 10am-12pm on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th, suitable for children aged 3-8.

Farnham Castle Keep 

Free entry is also given to Farnham Castle Keep, open from 9am on weekdays, with last entry at 4.30pm. Built in the Norman era, the castle offers scenic views overlooking Surrey.

Turn up on a Wednesday for a guided tour at 2-4pm, just £5 per adult and free for under 18s.

Frimley Lodge Park

Choose a nice sunny day this half term to explore the 59 acres of open space, woodland and meadows of Frimley Lodge Park. The children will love the two playgrounds, and the miniature railway is just £1.50 for a ride. 

Entry and parking are free, with toilets available and a cafe providing refreshments. Open from 7.30am-4.30pm during the half term week.
