Ash Manor School’s Annual presentation evening was held on Wednesday the 16th November, attended by honoured guests The Mayor of Guildford, Councillor Terence Patrick and Mayoress Mrs Angela Patrick. Awards were given in each educational discipline from the creative arts to technology for the upper and lower school. Awards for endeavour, achievement and commitment were bestowed on individuals who have shown outstanding enthusiasm and dedication in their house or year group.

This year Charlie Tolley was presented with the Mackenzie Smith Award for Exceptional Achievement based on his performance at the ‘Big Interview’ event, where local businesses help pupils get a taste of real life by interviewing them based on the students preferred career path. Charlie impressed his interviewer with his professional approach to the interview, demonstrating good ability in an area of skill which is ever more vital to career success. Mackenzie Smith Branch Manager at Ash Vale, Crawford Moxley, met with Charlie at the school to congratulate him on his accomplishment.
