When I say we “introduce” them, some have been with us for as long as 25 years, however this week’s spotlight is absolutely an introduction as Tracy Cook, our Senior Lettings Consultant, joined us just over a week ago.
Our new Senior Lettings Consultant, Tracy, started on Monday 13th November and has had a superb start to her time here, agreeing her first let and taking on her first instruction within the first week. With an experienced background in Sales, New Homes, Land and Lettings, dating 35 years, Tracy’s strong start should certainly not come as a surprise.
“I started my career in Estate Agency in 1982 at the grand old age of 17. My sister worked in the New Homes team at Carsons and arranged for me to have an interview with the Branch Manager at Hartley Wintney, Francis Williams, whom I now share a desk with in the Lettings Department. I then transferred to the New Homes and Land Department in 1984 as PA to Ed Mackenzie Smith, it’s certainly a small world! My career continued within the property industry, when I was approached by Romans in 1998. Having worked in all sectors within the Estate Agency business, I have stayed in Lettings for some time now, each day brings different challenges as we have to deal with a varied client base with a property portfolio of differing conditions and sizes. The satisfaction of helping someone secure the right property continues to be the favourite aspect of my job.”
When Tracy isn’t helping out landlords and tenants, she will likely be involved in anything motorcycle related, particularly the MotoGP where she supports Valentino Rossi.
Having previously worked in Fleet and with a selection of the Mackenzie Smith team in other agencies, Tracy has joined our Lettings Department at a time where we are experiencing real growth, continual loyal business and what is hopefully a bright future ahead.
