With all indications that the remainder of this year will continue to be just as buoyant it is quite clear that with demand appearing to outstrip supply. The only challenge is to ensure that accurate pricing prevails, as continued price inflation for the majority of properties is likely to have peaked for this calendar year.
Given it is also now more than a year since the introduction of the Mortgage Market Review and just under a year since the changes to the Stamp duty thresholds, the only consideration in the near future appears to be whether the cost of borrowing will increase. But until that happens, in my opinion, the imbalance between supply and demand will ensure demand from buyers will continue to increase.
