Roxanne who joined Mackenzie Smith just over 2 and a half years ago has recently been promoted to Marketing Manager.

Roxanne; who’s brief encompasses all marketing activities for the Company, has spent the majority of her time over the last six months ensuring that we deliver the correct marketing profile for the New Homes developments that the Company is instructed to sell. ‘This has been a key appointment for us’ says Ed Mackenzie Smith Managing Director of the Company.

Ed Mackenzie Smith commented, ‘About three years ago we identified a number of positions within the company; including Marketing not only our clients properties but the Company itself. With the arrival of digital marketing the platforms for positioning the business and our clients’ interests has expanded enormously. This needed to be covered and I am delighted that not only were we able to secure the services of Roxanne in the first place but we have also retained her skills and services for the immediate future. This promotion rewards her for all the hard work that has gone into building the department since her arrival, marketing the Company in a highly effective way and reflects the importance that we have for marketing generally’.

Roxanne is a graduate of Oxford Brooks University graduating with a 2:1 in Business and Marketing Communications which has provided her with a strong background to understand the business and many facets of integrated marketing communications.

Roxanne commented ‘I feel I have been really lucky to find my feet here at Mackenzie Smith. Through my placement for a Johnson and Johnson company I learned a great deal about the practicalities of a marketing role and have been able to expand upon that extensively at Mackenzie Smith, developing into new media and utilising my IDM certificate in direct and digital marketing. I love the variety involved, working to support all departments including the Company as a whole, new homes and residential sales. The promotion to Marketing Manager gives me a great sense of recognition; I take a great deal of pride in the marketing for the Company and pleasure in my work’.
