You may have noticed a few changes over the last couple months, as we have been rolling out a brand new layout for our property marketing, with a new look to our brochure and window cards and an overhaul of the property write-ups, enhancing our Rightmove and Zoopla listings and the overall presentation of our clients’ homes to potential buyers.

The world around us is certainly changing, with property searches now starting online, in particular on Rightmove and Zoopla with combined average visitor numbers of over 170 million visits per month. Rightmove, Zoopla and our own website analytics show that most of these visitors are now using mobile devices to look for properties – no real surprises there! What it does mean, is that the information provided needs to be concise, clear, easy to use and weigh heavily on the photographs and visual elements. With only 3 seconds to make an impression on a buyer, it’s important your property is presented to the best potential.

Last year, we introduced virtual tours to our clients which offer four unique features; 360° interactive tours, 360° mobile optimised photos as seen on facebook, high resolution photos and a virtual reality tour. Not only do these photos provide a great visual representation of the home, the addition of a virtual tour is proven to receive 10 times more views, with buyers spending three times longer considering the home, in comparison to a standard listing. Considering how buyers are now looking for their next home, we’ve reduced our content down to summarising the real key features of a property, along with a brief introduction, some bespoke location information and the addition of  owners’ and agent’s comments, which allows for our clients to explain what they’ve loved about their home; be it the location, the work they’ve done, the view from the bedroom and the responsible agent to add their opinion on what the best attributes are. We’ve also brought in more photos to our brochures and made them more mobile and web responsive than ever.
