Spring has finally kicked off, the poor weather is now hopefully behind us and now the temperature is also hotting up in the housing market with the Ash Vale office having one of the busiest Aprils in recent memory.

The sections of the market which seems to be experiencing the most activity are the price ranges between 200k-300k and 300-350k. Properties in this bracket are literally selling within a couple of weeks of reaching the market and in some cases we have had more than one buyer chasing the same house.

Another encouraging sign is the return of the first time buyer which were all but ‘extinct’ a couple of years ago but I’m pleased to say registrations have been noticeably higher this year and so I hope that continues because without the first time buyers to start the whole process nobody in a chain would be able to move home.

The market is looking optimistic so if you have been sitting on the fence now might be the time to take the first step and make sure you are well informed to make the right decision. If you are thinking of moving and would like a free no obligation market appraisal and valuation of your home please contact me on 01252 353030.
