Anyone contemplating buying an investment property or anyone considering letting out their property, needs professional advice about the local market as this could vary somewhat from the National picture.

The areas that we cover, Ash Vale, Farnborough, Fleet, Hartley Wintney and Hook are affluent areas and incredibly popular with tenants, which means they are ideal areas in which to let out your property. The superb communication links to London and the surrounding major towns makes the whole area a hotspot for the rental market, appealing to everyone from single professionals and young couples, to families eager to rent near the many excellent schools locally.

The Government’s recent statement about landlords and tenants being from a particular spectrum could not be further from the truth.  In our area many young people are buying investment properties and an equal number choosing not to buy even though it is well within their capability, deciding that renting gives them the flexibility they need. 

It is a fact that the housing market has changed and changed for good; rising house prices have seen to that. The private rental sector is now an essential part of the economy providing flexible living for a growing number of tenants and a much needed source of income for landlords and with pensions under the spotlight, more and more people across the board are looking at investing in property. Indeed we do have tenants that are themselves landlords and are renting for a variety of reasons.
