Although it is August we have generated a substantial number of viewings with buyers sometimes taking a number of weeks before making a decision in favour of submitting an offer.
This reflects buyers concerns about the market but does underpin our advice to clients to be realistic when pricing to sell.
A good example of this is the recent sale of a bungalow in Farnborough where the purchaser agreed terms after seeing the property 3 weeks ago and re - viewed after the vendors indicated they would be prepared to consider realistic offers.
Vendors have to consider carefully the option of rejecting offers from good buyers. It is not uncommon for vendors who have reconsidered to discover their purchaser has moved on and found an alternative....
