The market continues to remain positive with no lack of enquiries from buyers. However, values need to be accurate as there is no evidence of buyers willing to 'overpay' for the property of their choice.
More interest from buyers who are either in or have been considering the rental market demonstrates the underlying strength of the residential sales market.
Although values have recovered during the first three to four months of the year we believe that they will remain broadly flat for the rest of the year.
There are always exceptions particulary where a property is offered in excellent condition and occupies a good location.
The supply of property coming to the market is, in my opinion, not that different from last year. The difference is that property is selling resulting in lower stock levels for agents.
June and July have always been good selling months so please contact us if you are considering a move.
