Thankfully that’s not entirely the case, though when you look at the real roots of our business, it certainly stands true.
Our head office is undergoing a full refurbishment at the moment, in having a clear out we’ve come across some marketing from when we launched in 1992.
Back then, the local area code was still 0252, the internet hadn’t been publicly adopted – we didn’t have a website and Rightmove still had 8 years before it launched.
It’s safe to say times were extremely different in 1992, but when you step back and think about all the changes that have come into the world of estate agency since then, it’s phenomenal to realise that the ethos and core beliefs of Mackenzie Smith haven’t changed.
We’ve evolved with the times, to embrace new technology and marketing, but our key message has always been to offer exceptional service, proven in our ongoing partnership with Trustpilot; providing an impartial opinion of the overall experience we offer to our clients.
It’s a real privilege to be the caretaker of such a strong brand, I’ll have to make sure I keep some of our marketing collateral so we can enjoy a look back on our next big anniversary.
