As some of you may already know I am currently training for a long cycle ride which starts on Tuesday 19th May… from Lands End to John O’Groats (LEJOG).

Lands End LEJOGI will be cycling with my brother, sister, father and a friend.  We are not going on an organised event so there will be no backup support vehicle and no medic vehicle.  As such we will need to carry everything we want to take with us.  As you will have guessed, I will not be camping… so I do not need to take a tent but I will need to take all cycling clothes, evening clothes and bike spares in my pannier.

The cycle itself will be 956 miles of lovely English countryside and all the hills that come with it…  We will be cycling LEJOG in 10 days so that is just under 100 miles a day…

Katherine Gray Land ManagerWe are cycling to raise money for the WWF who use their experience, credibility and influence to help create long-term solutions to global threats to people and nature – such as climate change, the peril to endangered species and habitats, and the unsustainable consumption of the world’s natural resources.

There is less than 1 month to go until the start of the cycle.
