"

From start to finish we cannot fault the professional and respectful team at the Farnborough branch and the way in which our sale was handled. They did exactly what they said they would do from viewings to progression making the process as painless as possible. They stand out in a world full of mediocre businesses.

Trustpilot Reviews

Property is all Steve has ever known having entered the industry as a trainee negotiator straight out of school in the mid-80s. Over 30 years later and Steve still gets the same sense of satisfaction that he did on day one from helping someone to move home. His endless energy, combined with his unmatched knowledge of Farnborough and its surrounds, means there are few better when it comes to accurately valuing property in the local area.

When Steve isn’t selling homes, his time is mostly spent with his family. As a father to three children between the ages of 3 – 12, Steve believes that he could also classify as a part-time taxi driver.

Trust us. You’re in excellent hands.

About Farnborough

Located just 34 miles from London, Farnborough is in the very north-eastern corner of Hampshire, bordering Surrey. Farnborough’s historic roots in aviation are intrinsically woven into the fabric of the town, which is striding into the future as a leading hub for the aerospace industry, growing as a business centre and benefiting from an exciting, family-friendly town centre regeneration.

Property for sale: Farnborough

Buyers will be pleased to find that the property market and architecture in Farnborough is diverse. The town boasts historic buildings like The Convent, which has recently been refurbished to create unique luxury apartments, as well as a wide selection of traditional Victorian terraced houses.

South Farnborough, the oldest part of the town, is characterised by an abundance of Victorian homes. There are also several newly developed areas. These include Queensgate, where the mix of properties for sale appeals to first-time buyers, people looking for a family home, and buy-to-let investors.

House buyers in Farnborough have plenty of choice. Modern developments, like Queensgate, provide a range of apartments and houses, whilst larger estates such as Southwood boast a mixture of family homes built in the 1980s and 1990s. Our experienced estate agents in Farnborough will be able to help find your perfect property.

Executive apartments for sale can be found in the town centre, near the train station, while large period properties and characterful family homes are waiting to be discovered on spacious plots. The latter are typically found in older parts of Farnborough, including Church Circle, Farnborough Park and Empress Park.

Property prices in Farnborough

Considering its prime location, within the London commuter belt, properties for sale in Farnborough are reasonably priced when compared with neighbouring parts of Berkshire and Surrey.

The average asking price for a house stands in the region of £300,000 – lower than the typical sale price for a Hampshire property.

Those in the market to buy a flat can expect prices at an average of £200,000. Buyers looking to purchase a 1 bedroom house, as opposed to a flat, will tend to receive the best value for money. Homes like these sell for around £160,000.

However, properties in proximity to attractive green spaces, woods and nature reserves may command a higher asking price.

Letting Agents Farnborough – Properties to rent

Those looking to rent a property in Farnborough will be pleasantly surprised to find that the town boasts a buzzing rental market. Potential tenants will also find that the average monthly rent in Farnborough is fairly low, making it ideal for those looking to break away from the competitive London lettings market.

The average rent in Farnborough stands at around £1,000 to £1,100pcm. However, single occupants or couples will be able to locate a smart one-bedroom property for under £700pcm.

On the other hand, Farnborough’s rental opportunities may prove less flexible for a larger family on a budget. A four-bedroom house will attract around £2,000pcm, with far fewer rental properties of this size being available.

Fewer council-owned lettings are available in Hampshire as a whole when compared with the rest of the country.
