The area of Cove is situated between Farnborough and Fleet, adjacent to Hawley Village. Cove is a popular place to live with local residents with easy access to both neighbouring towns as well as the nature reserve at Fleet Pond and the lakes and woods at Hawley, where you are able to see up close many species in their natural habitats.
Cove Brook Greenway is a two mile wildlife rich green area running North to South cutting through the built up area, open to all. There are paths along most of the course. The area is preserved by Cove Brook Greenway Group who carry out surveys, clear rubbish and maintain and enhance the environment for the various species in the habitat, including; water voles, herons, kingfishers and several sorts of fish. The group can also provide equipment, learning materials and ideas for teachers and groups such as Cubs and Brownies.
The majority of local schools are located in Cove, there is Fernhill Secondary School, Cove Secondary School, Cove Junior School, Cove primary School, Guillemont Junior School, Pinewood Infants School, Parsonage Farm and Cherrywood infant school. Local sports clubs include Cove Football Club and Cove Cricket Club, there is also a lawn bowls club.
Cove is ideally located for families and professional alike and offers convenient commuter access both by road and by rail with access to the M3 (London Heathrow) and the south coast, and also by rail with Farnborough main line station serving London Waterloo in under 40 minutes. There are two other stations in nearby Farnborough, we have Farnborough North and North Camp Station both serving Reading-Gatwick via Guildford.
