A concert in aid of Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice will be taking place on Saturday the 9th February at Fleet Methodist Church. The event has kindly been sponsored by Estate Agents Mackenzie Smith and acoustic and sonar specialist Sonardyne.
The Band of the Hampshire Constabulary will entertain you for just £10 with tickets available from the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Shop in Fleet town centre or by calling 01252 683540, 01252 612527 or online at www.pthshop.co.uk.
Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice is based in Farnham, Surrey, and is the only adult hospice serving West Surrey and North East Hampshire so the service offered is vital. Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice cares for seriously ill people and their families, providing specialist and palliative care to the local community.
Fleet has its own hospice support group who have arranged this event to raise money to support the charity. The NHS covers less than 12% of the charity’s cost, which is under half the national average for hospices, therefore Phyllis Tuckwell’ rely heavily on the support and generosity of the local community to continue to provide these much needed services. The hospice needs to fundraise over £15,000 a day to maintain an exceptional standard of clinical care across the area.
Play your part and come and enjoy this delightful evening of music.
