Last week has seen the completion of a beautiful one bedroom apartment in the popular Queensgate development through our sales department.
It is the third property in the portfolio for existing landlords of mine who have purchased similar apartments in Farnborough and hopefully not the last. I have to say that I absolutely adore this recent purchase and am looking forward to sourcing the right tenant for it very soon.
With the benefit of having wooden flooring in the lounge/dining area and a Juliet balcony which is not overlooked at all and is surrounded by a canopy of leaves from the mature trees opposite, the presentation of the apartment is inviting. I could just imagine getting home from work, opening the doors to the balcony and completely relaxing without feeling like I am living in a fishbowl.
This property suits a professional single or even a couple and benefits from access to a secure cycle storage unit which is a huge bonus for me as I really enjoy cycling along local canals on sunny days.
It’s not just investment landlords that we have here at Mackenzie Smith, it is becoming very common to advise ‘accidental landlords’ of late. Perhaps where parents have had to move into a care home or sheltered accommodation and the family home is being let to pay for the fees, or maybe you are moving in with a new partner or being relocated with your work and you would like to keep hold of your property and let it work for you.
Whatever the reason we are happy to give advice and guidance to help make this less of a daunting prospect.
