In what has probably been the biggest move of the week, it has been announced that The Great British Bake Off is moving to Channel 4, as if you didn’t already know!

It almost seems like a move from a period country cottage in the countryside to a contemporary apartment in the city, both are appealing but which is to your taste?

Inspired by the biggest TV show to hit our screens this summer, we’ve put together a compilation of some of our favourite kitchens from our current listings. Who knows, perhaps a new kitchen would allow for the perfect rise, distinct layers and absolutely no soggy bottoms.

This Ively Road, Farnborough property presively-roadents a modern kitchen dining room, using colours and lighting to create a sleek and contemporary space forming the heart of the home. By cleverly combining two toned units along with similarly coloured backsplash tiling, the look is uncluttered and sophisticated, a great example of how to liven up a room without overcomplicating the visual elements. The concealed lighting has been subtly used to create a warming ambience, which together with the underfloor heating, creates a comfortable open plan living space for the whole family to enjoy.
