Hartley Wintney Cricket Club, said to be the oldest cricket club in Hampshire, is renowned for its beautiful grounds which have been in use since 1770 and continue to breed a passion for the game throughout the village and surrounding area.

On Sunday the 8th of August the club celebrated the 240th anniversary of cricket on the green with a GALA 20/20 match  Hartley Wintney XI made 223 for 7 (Will Phillips 101) VS Select XI who made 197 for 9 in reply, meaning a 3 wicket victory for Hartley Wintney XI.  There was a brilliant turnout as one of the most enjoyable family events in the village, with a bar, hog roast and live music from ‘Stroke the Toad’ in the evening.  We have been pleased to provide match ball sponsorship for six matches including the anniversary event which was enjoyed by all.
